The Best Clutter-Busters For Your Life and Home

Here are 5 great practices for you to follow at your home to slowly but surely gain control over your stuff. It really works!

1. Start reducing clutter by doing ‘one in two out’. For every new item you come home with, get rid of two. It is such an efficient clutter buster.

2. Take care of stuff you bring home right away. If it just gets dropped when we come home, it will just add to the clutter so put it away.

3. Recognize that piles of stuff are really clutter and need to be dealt with as soon as possible. Remember, “a place for everything and everything in its place.” Piles are out of place and need to go.

4. Have a “donate” box or bin that is convenient to get to. This way your unwanted items have a place to be put right away. Others will get good use out of them too!

5. Declutter on a daily or weekly basis for 10-15 minutes. It will add up quickly to help clean out your home.
